The zodiac design is subtle enough that it doesn't feel kitschy, and the cup itself has a nice weight to it. I've been using it daily since it arrived and the print hasn't chipped or faded at all, which is more than I can say for past themed mugs.
I was skeptical about a cup themed around the zodiac, but the etching on the side is intricate enough to actually make a good conversation piece. It holds a generous amount, and the finish feels sturdy for camping trips. Just the right touch to kick off the new year.
The zodiac animals are etched so cleanly into the metal that you can trace them with your thumb, and it’s a nice touch that feels festive without being loud. I’ve already used it for morning tea and evening whiskey, and the double-wall keeps things hot or cold for a good while.
